Man, is this thing even on? Nah jk. It’s ya boi, Double Sharp here, DS for short. I’m currently sitting in a coffee shop in cyberspace (y’all ain’t ready for that convo yet *insert The Matrix gif here*), waiting for a chamomile tea to be brewed. Hawaiian music is playing, and even though I’m not really in Hawaii, I like to pretend I am. It’s a beautiful day out, but I’m indoors, writing to you.

Hope this finds you well. Currently, I’m running on nothing but gallons of chamomile tea, and a bit of honey. I’m bound to crash eventually. I’ve got six hours of sleep under my belt and am looking forward to relieving more sleep pressure tonight. Yayyy new drugs!

Anyway, I just wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself. You already know my name, but here’s what I do: I write, I play piano, I run, I sing, I dance, I steal things (Jason Mraz fans where y’all at??).

I kid, I only kid. The only thing I steal, really, is another breath from the Grim Reaper (WHOA DUDE), but I know one day I’ll greet him patiently as a friend. For now, though, enjoy. Be free from these words that I’ve written, and explore the rest of the site. I promise you it was made with the utmost care and attention to detail. I’m meticulous in that way.

I’ll leave you with this: The only way to grow spiritually is to be honest. I promise you, every word that I write has been chosen with that in mind, as well as a fine sense of diction and connotation, if I do say so myself.

So live. Laugh. Love. (Earl Sweatshirt… dude… seriously??) And have a cup of chamomile. You’ve earned it, my dude.
